"Designing for the Linbury really allowed me to interrogate my process and push myself beyond my creative limits, and I'm so excited to go forward and take on new design challenges. It was brilliant to meet so many other amazing young designers, and find a whole new network of contemporaries."
Caitlin Abbot, Designer
Caitlin graduated from Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in 2018 and was a Linbury finalist in 2019. From 2019-2020 she was an Assistant Designer at the RSC and designed front-of-house installations for their Spring and Winter events.
Recent credits as a designer include: Valentina (The Place, online); Time and Tide (Park Theatre); Leak (Last Minute Productions, 2020), Life to the Full (TenTen Productions,2020); Arabian Nights (The egg, Theatre Royal Bath); The Mullah of Downing Street (Chipping Norton, Warwick Arts Centre); Cuttings (Hope Theatre); Bassett and The Changing Room (the egg); Knitmas: A Winter Yarn (Greenwich Theatre Studio) The Elephant Man (Bristol Old Vic).
