We are delighted to announce that the judges for the Linbury Prize for Stage design 2023 are:
Georgia Lowe is a designer who has worked across the UK and abroad. She trained on the Motley Theatre Design Course and then at The RSC as resident assistant designer. Georgia was a Linbury Prize finalist in 2011 and is on the Linbury Prize committee.
Tom Piper has worked extensively throughout the UK and abroad, primarily as a designer interested in text based work. He was Associate designer at the RSC from 2004 to 2014. Tom is on the Linbury Prize committee.
Jean-Marc Puissant is a stage and costume designer, curator and consultant, creating for live arts and exhibitions. He works internationally, collaborating with leading brands, directors, choreographers and curators, commissioned by companies, museums, opera houses and theatres in the UK, USA, Europe, Australia and Japan.
Rajha Shakiry is a set and costume designer. She has designed across various genres, collaborated on devised and text based projects, physical theatre, opera, dance and film. Utilising broad skills ranging from prop and costume making, workshop training, film editing to puppetry and performance.
